I grew up just south of Greencastle in Cloverdale, Indiana.  During my time in Cloverdale, I was heavily involved in the community, athletics, extra-curricular activities, cadet teaching/babysitting, and church.  From a very early age, I noticed that I loved watching children learn and grow and felt that helping others learn was something that came naturally to me. I knew quickly that teaching was the path that I wanted to take. I attend IU Bloomington where I graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education. I currently hold an Early Childhood Educators License and Computer Educators License. 

After graduating college, I started my teaching career as the technology teacher/IT Coordinator at a private school in Fishers, IN. I later made the move to teach kindergarten at the same school. While living in Fishers, I met my husband Kyle. We decided that it would be best to raise our two children close to family so we moved to Greencastle and ultimately found First Baptist Church and Preschool. 

I am blessed and honored to be a part of the preschool ministry here at First Baptist Church where I can help guide and teach the youngest members of community about God and His love for them while equipping preparing them for kindergarten.
